Weekly or biweekly cuts on a fixed day, with edges trimmed and clippings blown off every hard surface before I leave.
A mowing route only works if it is actually a route. I cut the same properties on the same day each week, which is why a neighbour can tell you what day I come without checking.
Every visit includes string trimming along fences, beds and foundations, edging where there is a hard line to hold, and blowing clippings off drives, walks and patios. Height is set for the season and the grass type rather than run at one setting all year.
