Aeration & Overseeding

Core aeration to break compaction, followed by seed into open holes, which is the one treatment that reliably thickens a thin lawn.

Compacted soil is the reason a lot of lawns stay thin no matter how much seed or fertiliser goes down: water and roots cannot get through it. Core aeration pulls plugs out and gives both somewhere to go.

Seeding straight after aeration puts seed in direct contact with soil inside each hole, which is why the combination takes and broadcasting seed over hard ground does not. Timing is seasonal, so this one gets booked for a window rather than any week you like.

What is included

  • Core aeration, plugs pulled not spiked
  • Overseeding matched to your grass type
  • Starter fertiliser at seeding
  • Watering schedule written down for you

Same truck, same day, every week. He is the one who quoted it and he is the one who shows up, which is not how the last two companies worked.

He told me the aeration could wait a season and saved me the money. That is why he still cuts my yard.

I have never had to explain the gate or the dog twice. Small thing, but it is why I stopped shopping around.

The fall cleanup is worth it on its own. My grass comes back in March ahead of everyone on the street.

He answers his own phone. I called at seven on a Tuesday and had a price by lunch.
